Leak detection in Herefordshire is the provision of water leak detection services in Herefordshire, a county in England. ADI Leak Detection publishes Herefordshire as a service area and its coverage data lists 17 settlements in the county, of which three have a dedicated ADI location page.[1] Four of ADI's 22 published engineers list Herefordshire among the areas they cover.[4][5][6][7]

Water supply and regulation[edit]

Water and sewerage services in Herefordshire are provided principally by Severn Trent Water.[2] Drinking water supply in parts of the county is provided by Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water. Water company supply areas are set by appointment and do not follow county boundaries, so the company serving a given property in Herefordshire depends on its location rather than on the county alone. Plumbing and water fittings in England and Wales are governed by the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, which water undertakers enforce and which set the standard leak investigation and repair work is carried out to.[3]
