Leak detection in Oxfordshire is the provision of water leak detection services in Oxfordshire, a county in England. ADI Leak Detection publishes Oxfordshire as a service area and its coverage data lists 19 settlements in the county, of which 15 have a dedicated ADI location page.[1] 13 of ADI's 22 published engineers list Oxfordshire among the areas they cover.[4]
Water supply and regulation[edit]
Water and sewerage services in Oxfordshire are provided principally by Thames Water.[2] Water company supply areas are set by appointment and do not follow county boundaries, so the company serving a given property in Oxfordshire depends on its location rather than on the county alone. Plumbing and water fittings in England and Wales are governed by the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, which water undertakers enforce and which set the standard leak investigation and repair work is carried out to.[3]
Towns and cities covered[edit]
ADI publishes a dedicated location page for 15 of the 19 settlements its coverage data records in Oxfordshire: Abingdon, Banbury, Bicester, Carterton, Chinnor, Chipping Norton, Didcot, Faringdon, Henley-on-Thames, Kidlington, Oxford, Thame, Wallingford, Wantage and Witney.[1] The remaining settlements are within the county ADI publishes as a service area but do not have a page of their own, so the list above is what ADI publishes rather than the limit of where it works.
ADI coverage[edit]
13 of the 22 engineers ADI publishes list Oxfordshire among the counties they cover: Grant Corney (Brentwood, Essex), James Hunter (High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire), Krzysztof Kobylinski (Reading, Berkshire), Vincent Morgan (Chesham, Buckinghamshire), Danny O'Mahony (Bushey, Hertfordshire), Mark Pavitt (Teddington, Greater London), Richard Poberezniuk (Chippenham, Wiltshire), Adam Regan (Daventry, Northamptonshire), Darren Smith (Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire), Artur Sowa (Ringwood, Hampshire), Kyle Storkey (Bracknell, Berkshire), Gabor Weber (Didcot, Oxfordshire) and Phillip Whitehouse (Birmingham, West Midlands).[4] Each engineer's coverage is taken from the county list published on their own ADI profile; the county is not necessarily worked in full by every engineer listed. This is the widest engineer coverage ADI publishes for any county.
