Leak detection in Wrexham is the provision of water leak detection services in Wrexham, a county in Wales. ADI Leak Detection publishes Wrexham as a service area and its coverage data lists five settlements in the county, of which two have a dedicated ADI location page.[1] Two of ADI's 22 published engineers list Wrexham among the areas they cover.[4][5]

Water supply and regulation[edit]

Water and sewerage services in Wrexham are provided principally by Hafren Dyfrdwy.[2] Drinking water supply in parts of the county is provided by Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water. Water company supply areas are set by appointment and do not follow county boundaries, so the company serving a given property in Wrexham depends on its location rather than on the county alone. Plumbing and water fittings in England and Wales are governed by the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, which water undertakers enforce and which set the standard leak investigation and repair work is carried out to.[3]
